School statement
Carbrook is located in a semi-rural area in Logan City, on the southern outskirts of Brisbane, in close proximity to the city. Since 1877, Carbrook has played a significant role in the lives of children as they grow and develop. Carbrook provides high quality education, relationships, work and outcomes for all members of the school community. Carbrook State School is - 'the natural place to be.' Carbrook State School consciously focuses on: academic excellence; quality opportunities and experiences for all; creative thinking; healthy minds and bodies; a supportive, safe environment based on responsible conduct; individual difference; creating globally responsible citizens for the future; and valuing the parental role in education. Our purpose is to provide quality opportunities for all students to facilitate the acquisition of knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to deal with life's pathways into the future.
