This school, established in 1955 in Brighton East, is a Year 7 to 12 co-educational college with around 1200 students. It has a formalised neighbourhood enrolment area. The student population has a female to male ratio of about 40:60, with 19% coming from families where a Language other than English is spoken at home. Up to 10% of the enrolment is international fee paying students. The families of our children are diverse in ethnic origin. Our motto is 'A Tradition of Excellence'. The environment boasts a new VCE, Careers and Pathways centre, a Year 9 centre and other up to date specialist facilities and resources. The College has extensive student wellbeing structures, policies and programs, a Select Entry Accelerated Learning (SEAL) program, a wide range of co-curricular programs and a Learning Advisor program for all students in Years 10 to 12. The College offers students in Year 10 access to VCE Unit 1/2 studies; in Year 11 access to VCE Unit 3/4 studies. Years 11 and 12, students are offered access to Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL), Vocational Education and Training programs (VET) and an extensive School Leadership program.
